Living Your Time Wisely
So little time, so much to do. We experience anxiety and even become ill by not being able to do all that we want with our lives. The secret to managing Time is to stop managing it!
Most ancient cultures say that when the Creator created the universe it was through a voice of sound or word. Sometimes I wonder if the Creator spoke too soon and the universe leaked out before he was ready to figure out how to manage it. Maybe that's why we are all behind in our time
management... if the Creator can't keep up, how can we!?
Most scientists do not have agreement or understanding on what time is, especially as it relates to space, matter, light and motion. It should reduce stress for us to know that there is no science of time, only notions and ideas. Time is occasionally precise but it is more often ambiguous
and sometimes even shapeless. All of us have had experiences when the world seemed free and timeless as well as when it felt heavy like it would never end. Managing time takes a lot of energy. How often does an entire week, let alone an entire day "go your way" when you actually
get everything done with little or no effort, and the time/space to enjoy it!?
There is a popular rumor circulating that it is possible to live a balanced life and that we should strive for it. How many of us are really living this balanced life, always being with the people we want to be with, in places where we want to be, doing the things we want to do? Not that
it can't be done, but like the time/space/matter/motion/light continuum, our lives are morphing and changing and rarely seems to be very stable for too long. No wonder our ancestors produced so many prayers to invoke good luck/intervention to get things done smoothly.( My prayers for accomplishment
are intense periods of begging and bargaining with Creator..not very gallant!)
The solution to all of this is: live a life of Harmony. You are living a life of harmony when your highest virtues and values, expressed through your principled behaviors, are always present no matter what you are doing. Living a True life (see right sidebar for the definitions of RIGHT)
means that you have integrity with yourself i.e. no matter where you are and what you are doing, you are genuinely real.
When your thoughts, words and actions flow effortlessly and interchangeably, you are living your RIGHT Way. Authentically or RIGHTfully interacting with an unfolding Creation as your continual lifestyle, will cause time to flow out from yourself! Be responsible and bring Harmony to your
life in word and deed. The management is of yourself, not something to attain outside of yourself.
Now take a slow breathe. Breathe again. Take a moment to consider these words and how you might incorporate Harmony as the foundation that permeates your daily life.
Taking a spiritual or ideological concept and making it a practical daily life habit always begins with the embodiment of it, which is done simply by breathing. Keep breathing gently. This is much easier to manage than time!
True,
Dr. Schillinger
PS-- I invite you to e-mail me with your thoughts, ideas and experiences of Time and its "management". If you're interested, I will send you a list of my "greatest hits" of practical time management techniques and strategies. I hope to hear from you.
Dear Dr. Mark... Dr. Schillinger's Time Management workshop last month was a big hit! Here is what a few people had to say about it…..
" I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your time management presentation last month... I am retiring from the unnecessary to the fun and the pleasurable. It's a slow process but I'm moving in the right direction!"
S.A.
" Your time management presentation was very good; upbeat and funny, you hit home on many points."

 Having
deep, meaningful values and behaviors that reveal your values, is
the best way to move through the ever changing landscape of our lives.
My workshops, books and in our non-profit organization (WIHD), I emphasize a simple expression that helps me
stay focused on my values and behaviors. I will refer to them in
this section.
Honor what is RIGHT:
Respect = to esteem with reverence
Intelligence = applying your experience and
intuition into wisdom
Gallantry/Grace = engaging in a heart
full acts of courage or courtesy
Humor = amusement with celebration
and laughter
True = living your life with integrity
so that you can trust yourself and others
EnRIGHTenment
is enlightenment that is real and authentic for you. Discover for
your self the daily rituals that you need to be healthy and happy.
Chiropractic physicians recommend daily motion or exercise, spiritually
and physically. The founder of chiropractic, DD Palmer, said that
the number one source of illness is spiritual/emotional stress.
He affirmed the need for each person to develop a positive mental
attitude. I encourage you to do the things you know you need to
do to feel fulfilled, rejuvenated and creative.
I encourage you not to live life alone. Ask for help when you need it and give
help when you able.

"Thank you Doctor. I feel like a new woman! The adjustment and massage went well. It was wonderful!"

"I had a sore aching back with pain in my hamstrings and heels and had been suffering for two years. After trying several over-the-counter medications, I decided to try chiropractic care from Schillinger Chiropractic & Wellness Group. After my first treatment, I felt immediate improvements. In three months, using positive thinking, a healthy diet, drinking lots of water and continuing treatments, I had no more pain. The staff was helpful and professional and I will continue to use SCG for care in the future"

Q -- Do I need milk to get calcium as I think I may be allergic to milk?
A-- According to recent studies, those who consumed the most dairy products had the highest rates of osteoporosis and bone fractures. The dairy industry has no studies to prove that calcium in milk is absorbable. Few adults can metabolize the protein in cow's milk. The partially digested
proteins enters the bloodstream as an "invader", causing the immune system to overreact and cause allergy symptoms. We do not recommend drinking cow's milk for any reason at any time.
